We have developed an Instructional Methodology which uses proven problem-based learning and model-centered instruction principles. By exposing learners to problems and the reasoning and best practices of experts, this program helps them to acquire skills in real-life applications.
Features:
- Task-based learning: Students learn about performing tasks and the knowledge required to doing them. Redundancy is minimized so that the time to learn is reduced.
- Learning through problem solving: Learners are trained to perform tasks using the knowledge and skills acquired during the real-life problem-solving process.
- Learning in context to performance: Students learn to handle practical problems such as judgment, safety concerns, etc., and use standard reference and information sources.
- Learning by owning the experience: Learners have to create solutions for “on-the-job” problems. The program trains the learner to improvise solutions in unstructured situations.
- Learning by watching Trainer: Students learn by watching trainer solve problems (demonstrations). They are also exposed to the invisible thinking process that the trainer uses and learn through modeling their behavior.
- Learning in the real-world environment: Learners are exposed to the real-life resources, complexities, and challenges trainers deal with. This helps to bridge the gap between the real-life environment and the learning experience.
